There were so much going on at this event covering September 4 through September 5 that I have to hyphenate it whenever I talk about it. This grand opening/homecoming was an amazing opportunity to visit Memphis for the first time and see where The Band CAMINO was born. I couldn’t pass it up and was accompanied by a couple of diehards who were also easy to convince onto this ride.
We had already purchased tickets before the openers were announced, though I was definitely happier with my decision once in Color was Added to the roster. For night two we had veryGENTLY, who I didn’t know before the show, but I became a huge fan after the fact. Both were fabulous companions for The Band CAMINO in different ways and have a lot of backstory with the boys. It was interesting to discover a new venue, new city and even new friends all at the same time on this very hot adventure. I would really recommend that Live Nation build some kind of covered patio area the next time they’re thinking about building a new venue in the south however.
